Golden Milk :)

Warm Golden Milk with a dash of Black Pepper.

Happy Almost Fall!!!!!

Fall is the time when we should think about boosting our immune system, as we are coming into cold and flu season. I love to incorperate loads of herbs, teas, tonics and milks to my Fall Rituals.

One of the yummiest things you can make for yourself this season is Golden Milk. Golden milk got the name due to it’s beautiful, rich golden color.

Golden Milk is full of immune boosters and anti-inflammatory properties. Remember inflammation in the body is the root of all disease.

Golden Milk Recipe:

2 cups of coconut milk

1/8 teaspoon ground Turmeric or 1 teaspoon raw fresh juiced Turmeric

1/8 teaspoon ground Ginger or 1 teaspoon raw fresh juiced Ginger Root

1 teaspoon real Vanilla ( I love Mexican Real Vanilia or Madagascar Real Vanilla)

Two dashes of Black Pepper or two grind turns. This is a very important step. Black Pepper helps the body absorb the Turmeric.

1-2 tablespoons of Coconut Sugar, depending on how sweet you like it. I love mine sweet!!!! :)

Dash of ground Cinnamon

Put all of the ingredients into the blender and blend thoroughly. Heat in a pan or microwave in a mug. Froth and add a dash of Black Pepper on top.
