You’re putting on a happy face for others while inside your head you feel like you’re about to explode. You wish you could make changes but you’re not sure how. Somewhere along the line, you lost your joy and your voice — you lost yourself. You’re afraid to speak your truth, and feel hypersensitive to others. You’re aching to feel good again.

Using holistic therapy modalities, I’ll teach you how to stop people-pleasing, use your sensitivity as your superpower, create more time for yourself, and rediscover your joy.

What is Holistic Therapy?

Holistic therapy brings healing and harmony to the entire person – treating not just their mind, but also their body and spirit. Thanks to Somatic Psychotherapy, we now know that our painful memories are stored in the cells of our body. These need to be gently released, and our bodies need to be properly cared for in order to do so. Regardless of your symptoms, true healing can only happen when we address and unite all three of these. 

I utilize my experience and training as a licensed holistic therapist, yoga teacher, reiki practitioner, intuitive, and healer to create a custom plan tailored to fit what each client wants to focus on. 

Below are some of the modalities I often suggest in those plans. It’s important to note that these modalities are suggestions. You don’t ever have to try anything you’re not comfortable with. We’ll work together to find the path that feels good for you.

My approach to therapy begins by developing a strong rapport with clients. I get to know your background, thoughts, feelings, dreams, stressors, and we’ll collaborate to set goals that feel attainable. During each session, I’ll help you determine the next step towards reaching these goals. We’ll always make time to recognize your progress, as this is key to empowerment and joy. I take a Feminist, strengths-based approach to working with all of my clients. 

I also know that when you’re in the throes of a hard time, therapy can feel intimidating or overwhelming. But you deserve healing. When you’re ready, making a commitment to your wellbeing is what will eventually make life feel less overwhelming and so, so much more fulfilling. 

We’ll always work at a pace that feels comfortable to you – as Trevor Hall says, “you can’t rush your healing.”

I meet with all of my clients virtually via Telehealth, which is available to both national and international clients. I know some are hesitant to do therapy virtually, so you can read about personal breakthroughs and the convenience of meeting virtually firsthand from my clients here.
